Job Description:
Create and maintain production device process flows in Oracle and PROMIS database systems and provide technical support to users regarding the systems capabilities and limitations for new production flow requirements based on external customer needs.

Responsibilities:

    * Set-up the customer device information into PROMIS/ORACLE environment per specification from Business Account Managers.

    * Program/Modify/Maintain the device routing per input from Assembly Process and Test Product Engineers.

    * Assist Manufacturing/Planning and various groups in managing affected WIPS (work-in-process) lots during material and routing changes by other requesting groups.

    * Advise internal customer of capabilities of the system per impacts of changes/new projects and also coordinates with other groups who may be affected by such.

Accomplishments:

    * ORACLE R11i AND PROMIS V6.3.1 Interface Testing - performed system testing of data interface between R11 internet version and a new version of MES PROMIS. Member of implementation/upgrade team and one of the signee for Compaq and ORACLE on systems UAT. Done Dec 2002

    * PIRF Lotus Notes Project - this project is to modify NDRF to include Product Engineering Test Parameters in Lotus Notes and systems interface with Test Product PDM system. Started Nov 2002

    * Wafer Bump MES Support Project - completed Oracle R11/PROMIS setup in STATS together with the engineers involved in technology of wafer bump. Translated manufacturing flow from technical view into STATS systems. Done September 2002

    * Forecast Device Hyperion/ADEXA Systems Support Project - established procedure in creation of STATS' forecast devices for the 2 main planning systems Hyperion and ADEXA. Wrote VMS/VAX codes in order to automate checking of all forecast devices matrices for forecast  orders. Done Apr -  July 2002

    * Automatic Test Program Loading Project of STATS - supported the data extraction and re-population of all devices' test parameters in PROMIS dbase used for automatic loading of test programs by means of barcode readers. This project eliminate critical issues of manual wrong key-in of test programs by the Test Operations. Done Nov 2001 - Jan 2002

    * Project of Post Test Inventory Location - this project is to create a system for tested devices coming in on post test only for inventory purposes after sometime shall reschedule on backend. Created the program in VAX/VMS on how to track inventory in Post Test Location. Done Oct 2001

    * Backend Flow Creation Project for Globespan, Fairchild and Marvell Customers - created the different reeling, tray and tube flows for these 3 customers heavy emphasis on residual and full tray process flows in PROMIS systems. Done July 2001 - Oct 2001

    * New Device Creation Format Barrier Removal Team of STATS - Team member of the management's project on how to reduce cycle time in setting-up of new customer orders inside the ORACLE and PROMIS systems for production, planning, engineering and customer services use. Reduced cycle time from >24 hours to 8 hrs per device/order setup. Done May 2001 - Dec 2001
